The Second City to Play 3-Weekend Run in Arlington

Chicago’s legendary sketch comedy theater is presenting a three-weekend run of “The Second City’s Nut-Cracking Holiday Revue” at Arlington Cinema & Drafthouse, located at 2903 Columbia Pike, starting on Friday, Dec. 11 with a 7:30 p.m. show.

The show features a seasonal blend of hilarious scenes, songs and The Second City’s trademark improvisation with a sprig of holiday mischief for a night of spirited fun. From uneven gift exchanges with a clueless boyfriend to couples therapy with Joseph and Mary, The Second City offers its take on all that’s ridiculous about the holiday season.

The run at Arlington Cinema & Drafthouse will be The Second City’s only holiday shows on the East Coast. Tickets for the show are $30 and admission to the venue is allowed for those under 21 if they are accompanied by someone over 21 before 9 p.m. and it’s 21 and older only after 9 p.m.

There are 4 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. shows, depending on the day of the show, from Friday, Dec. 11 – Sunday, Dec. 27. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit arlingtondrafthouse.com.
