One More Page, a bookstore located on the edge of Arlington County at 2200 N. Westmoreland Street, recently announced its slate of November events, which includes a local author event, a coloring party and launch party for a local author and poet.
The bookstore’s slate of events kicks off with local author event that is part of the Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia book festival Northern Virginia j.talks. One More Page’s event will be much like speed dating, with several authors taking only three minutes to summarize their books. That event is on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m.
One More Page’s monthly wine tasting will have a creative addendum in November. After the wine tasting, which lands on Friday, Nov. 6 at 6:30 p.m., there will be an after hours coloring party, where customers can color sample pages from Johanna Basford’s upcoming book Lost Ocean: An Inky Adventure and Coloring Book.
On Thursday, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. One More Page is hosting a book launch party for poet and author Kathi Wolfe’s new book The Uppity Blind Girl Poems. Wolfe is the winner of Baltimore publisher BrickHouse Books’ most recent Stonewall Chapbook Competition. For more information, visit onemorepagebooks.com.
