Former GMHS Drama Teacher Frank Marino Dies

Frank Marino, the popular drama teacher at Falls Church’s George Mason High School from the mid-1990s until his arrest, and then conviction, on six counts of “taking indecent liberties with a minor,” died of cancer last weekend at his home in Richmond. Marino was arrested in February 2004 and convicted that October.

He completed a near seven-year sentence in 2011, and had been living in Richmond since his release.
