Woman’s Club of McLean Holds Wine & Cheese Reception

The Woman’s Club of McLean held a wine and cheese reception on Sunday, Sept. 27 to preview its 49th annual Holiday Homes Tour in early December. This year’s tour will feature four large houses in three choice neighborhoods of west McLean.

The four homes are all large, elegant houses on half- to one-acre lots and are easily accessible from Lewinsville Road and other local arteries. Each house will be decorated with the holidays in mind and will highlight family life in McLean.

In addition, the Woman’s Club will simultaneously host a boutique at the historic Pleasantville Church, located at 8641 Lewinsville Road, McLean, featuring holiday items, a variety of gifts, jewelry, scarves, handbags, drinks and desserts, baked goods, tour tickets and a silent auction.

The tour will take place on Thursday, Dec. 3, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Tickets will be available in early October at local businesses, including Mesmeralda’s Gifts of McLean, Karin’s Florist of Vienna and Great Dogs of Great Falls or may be obtained on the tour day at the church or at one of the featured homes.

The boutique, for which tickets are not required, will be open from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. For more information, call 703-556-0197 or visit mcleanwc.org.
