George Mason HS Class of ’65 Has 50-Year Reunion

George Mason High School’s Class of 1965, the first class to graduate from Mason after completing 12 years as Falls Church City students, is having its 50-year reunion this weekend. The class started first grade together at Mt. Daniel Elementary School when the school opened in 1953, though some of the students who ended up in Mason’s ’65 class may have attended Madison Elementary School.

The reunion will start tomorrow with a tour of Mason, followed by the class’ attendance the football team’s game versus William Monroe High School. After the game, the members of the class will head to Mad Fox Brewing Company.

On Saturday members of the class will tour the City and have a banquet in the evening. On Sunday, members of the class will have brunch at 4Ps.
