Master Gardener Sandy Tarpinian will be teaching a yard waste composting workshop at Cherry Hill Park at 312 Park Avenue on Sunday, Sept. 27 from 2 – 4 p.m. Topics that will be covered at the workshop include  leaf mulching in your yard, yard waste composting, hands-on composting demonstration, making compost tea, proper food waste composting and vermicomposting.

All participants in the workshop will have their names placed into a raffle to win a free compost bin. Two compost bins will be given away. The event is free and open to the public.
