Creative Cauldron Holds Auditions for ‘Madeline and the Gypsies’

Creative Cauldron’s Learning Theater Ensemble is gearing up to hold auditions for its annual holiday production of one of the adventures of Ludwig Bemelmans’ classic character Madeline. This year’s production is “Madeline and the Gypsies” and auditions for the play will be held Saturday, Sept. 26 between 1 – 3 p.m.

The Learning Theater Ensemble is casting the roles of 12 little girls between the ages 8 – 14, Madeline’s friend Pepito, the Spanish Ambassador’s son and clowns and circus performers. Everyone auditioning should bring sheet music for a song of their choice and be prepared to move.

The cost for participation in the production is $450, but selection for participation is through audition only. Those auditioning must be available for all of the rehearsals and performances. For more information, visit creativecauldron.org/learningtheater_115.html.
