Republican Show to Remain on FCC-TV

A move to take off the air the “Northern Virginia Republican” show produced by Jim Parmelee telecast on over 40 Virginia cable systems, including all in Northern Virginia, has been reversed and the show will remain on the Falls Church Cable TV system, the City’s Republican committee has reported. The decision followed a suggestion by the FCC-TV board chair to remove it until a policy statement on political policy programming can be developed by the board. That led to a mobilization to keep it on the air, said Ken Feltman of the City’s Republican committee, who is also on the FCC-TV board.
