Goodwin House Offers New Program for ‘Aging in Place’

Goodwin House at Home, a new program designed for individuals who want to plan for aging in place, is hosting three upcoming informational events. Goodwin House at Home is designed for healthy, active adults 55 and older who want to combine the independence of living at home with the continuing healthcare benefits found in a retirement community. Participants pay a one-time membership fee to join the program, followed by a monthly fee. As care needs increase, the monthly fees do not.

Informational events will take place at Goodwin House, Bailey’s Crossroads (3440 South Jefferson Street, Falls Church) from 10 – 11:30 a.m. and 2 – 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29 and Wednesday, August 19 and at Fairview Park Marriott (3111 Fairview Park Drive, Falls Church) from 10 – 11:30 a.m. and 2 – 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12. RSVPs are not required but space is limited. To reserve a spot, call 703-575-5202 or e-mail athome@goodwinhouse.org.
