New Falls Church Arts Landscaping Classes Begin

Falls Church Arts started new studio landscape painting classes in conjunction with the organization’s 6th Annual Falls Church Plein Air Festival ‘Scenes in the City.’ In the class, landscape painting and plein air expert Bobbi Pratte wil teach new and varied techniques and methods to create artful landscape paintings, the fundamentals for achieving quick and beautiful landscapes and how to capture the light and dark areas quickly, which is an important aspect of plein air painting.

Falls Church Arts is also organizing free plein air painting groups, which will meet on the weekends and afternoons to paint in scenic areas of Falls Church. Those interested in joining one of the groups can contact info@fallschurcharts.org. For more information about the studio landscape painting class, visit fallschurcharts.org.
