The International Baccalaureate Chinese Networking and Chinese Teacher Conference was sponsored by George Mason High School recently and 65 teachers from Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C. participated. A key topic was “Empowering Students using Authentic Task and Materials,” followed by four sessions presented by teachers. Participants from the International Baccalaureate networking program and the Chinese Teacher Association in Virginia joined Mason’s administrative team, Mr. Byrd and Richard Kane, and Mason Chinese teacher Ms. Kao.
