OFFICIALLY MARRIED UNDER Virginia law earlier this month were Falls Church’s Jonathan Harper (left) and Gordon Phelps (right). They opted for no formalities this time after they’d held a “commitment ceremony” seven years ago to which all their family and friends were invited. Harper is a former employee of the News-Press and the author of a newly-published collection of short stories, “Daydreamers.”
