Vienna’s Plaka Grill Expanding to Former Cosi Space in Falls Church

19328_472726502765013_1841870260_nPlaka Grill will open a second location of its popular Greek fast casual restaurant in the former Cosi space in The Byron in the City of Falls Church early next year. The F.C. Cosi closed for good in July of this year.

The Vienna restaurant posted a message on its Facebook page yesterday alerting its fans of the expansion and plans to open in January or February of 2015. Plaka Grill first opened on Lawyers Road just off Maple Avenue in Vienna in 2007 and is known for its Greek specialties including wraps, souvlaki, soups, salads and more. One of he most popular items on the menu is the Plaka Gyro which stuffs french fries, slow-roasted marinated pork, tomatoes and onions into a pita.

Palak Grill plans to open at 513 West Broad Street in early 2015.
