Hoang’s Grill Closing Thursday, Sports Bar Taking Its Place

Falls Church’s Hoang’s Grill and Sushi Bar’s will be closing its doors tomorrow for the last time, Thursday, Oct. 16. An announcement from the restaurant’s management released today says “On behalf of the Hoang family and staff, at the bottom of our hearts we thank you for your loyalty and patronage. We are ever so grateful for the community support, camaraderie and many lifelong friends we’ve acquired in the past nine years in Falls Church. We shared many great memories and we will always have that with us.”

The restaurant closing opens up a new chapter for the Hoang family as Phuong (Fern) Hoang will be launching a fine dessert, bakery and catering business  and Nghia Hoang is designing a Vietnamese gourmet cookbook. Lyly and Liza Hoang will be working in marketing and business development.

A sports bar, The Locker Room, will be opening in its place at 505 West Broad Street after renovations are complete and the new ABC license is secured.
