Jody’s Jam of the Week: Summers Farm Fall Harvest Festival

StarSpangledMaze

Ushering in the season change, Summers Farm opens to the public for six weeks starting this Saturday for its annual Fall Harvest Festival in Frederick, Maryland.

The main attraction of this year’s 18th annual festival is a 14-acre, 12-foot tall corn maze. The maze’s design celebrates the 200th anniversary of the Star Spangled Banner and features Fort Henry and “bombs bursting in air” throughout the amber waves of grain. In addition to the maze, there will be tractor-drawn hayrides, a pumpkin patch, slides, mini-golf, pony rides and even pig racing.

Tickets to the Fall Harvest Festival are $10.95 each with kids under two, free.
