This morning Fairfax County police completed the autopsy of a man found dead in a parking lot in the 6000 block of Bellview Drive early Monday morning and are investigating the death as a homicide, according to the Fairfax County Police department. Fairfax County officer Bud Walker said that residents of the Culmore neighborhood should be “on guard” and “keeping their eyes open” for any suspicious activity.
The victim has been identified, but the FCPD are withholding information about the man’s identity until they can locate and notify his next of kin. The victim had suffered “trauma to the upper body,” according to the Fairfax County police department.
