Jody’s Jam of the Week: Scavenger Hunt of the Smithsonian

smithsonianlogoThere’s a plethora of things to see and do around the D.C. area but the museums of the Smithsonian have got to be at the very top of the list. With so many different buildings and exhibits, however, deciding just how to tackle them can be intimidating. This Saturday, Things to Do DC makes the exploration a bit easier when they present a scavenger hunt that takes participants throughout the many Smithsonian museums. Scavenger duties include items to retrieve, pictures to take and questions to answer and bonuses will be given to the quickest teams.

The race kicks off at noon sharp on Saturday and costs $20 to participate. First prize is free admission to the Embassy of Italy Gala on October 4.

What: Scavenger Hunt of the Smithsonian

When: Saturday, August 30, 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Where: Meets at Ollie’s Trolley Restaurant, 425 12th St. NW, Washington D.C.
