FC Students Earn Academic Accolades Nationwide

Several students from Falls Church earned academic accolades at educational institutions around the United States in the spring of 2014.

Kendra Smith earned a Masters of Social Work degree from the School of Social Work at Simmons College.

John Paul Mardelli earned a Bachelor of Science in software engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology’s Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences.

Allison Schulman was named to the dean’s list at Miami University of Ohio for the spring 2014 semester. Thamer Altuwaijri was named to the dean’s list, as well, at Eastern Illinois University for the spring 2014 semester.

Andrew Pak graduated from the Randolph-Macon Academy. Pak, who was a member of the varsity football and track teams at Randolph-Mason, will be attending Bridgewater College this fall.

Noah Thirkill earned the English 7 Most Improved Award and the Civics Outstanding Mastery Award at Randolph-Macon Academy for the 2013-2014 school year.
