Creative Cauldron Announces 2014-15 Season

The not-for-profit arts organization Creative Cauldron announced their 2014-15 season last week, which will include a diverse range of programming, including adult theater with professional casts and family-friendly shows presented by Creative Cauldron’s Learning Theater Ensemble.

The organization will kick off the season with a production of “Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris,” a musical revue of the songs of the Belgian singer-songwriter Jacques Brel, which will run from Oct. 3 – 26.

In January, Creative Cauldron will produce and present the world premiere of the musical The Turn of the Screw, which was adapted from Henry James’ novella of the same name by the writer/composer team of Stephen Gregory Smth and Matt Conner.

Smith and Conner’s production is the first installment of Creative Cauldron’s “Bold New Works for Intimate Stages” five-year initiative, in which Creative Cauldron will solicit actors, writers and composers every year for original works that are designed to be performed in small venues, such as ArtSpace Falls Church’s 80-seat theater.
