City officials and library board members cut the ribbon on a 3D printer at Mary Riley Styles Public Library last Saturday morning. Just after the ribbon was cut, Phoebe Way, a 9-year-old member of the library, was the first person to use the printer.

The printer, which was purchased for the library by Falls Church resident and member of Boy Scout Troop 895 Jacob Bruner as part of his Eagle Scout project, can be used by library patrons for free. The printing area will be open from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and 1 – 5 p.m. on Sundays.
