Jody’s Jam of the Week: D.C. BRGR Bash

brgrbashBurgers and booze. Booze and burgers. Two wonderful creations. This Saturday, both will combine during the D.C. BRGR Bash pitting 10 area burger slingers against each other during a “ground round smackdown” on Florida Avenue.

Willow Restaurant, Cafe Saint-Ex, Big Buns, Old Ebbit Grill, GUGS, Fainting Goat, Boundary Stone, 1905, Burger Tap & Shake and Granville Moore’s will be competiting for the beefy crown with brewers DC Brau, Atlas Brew Works and New Belgium providing the sudsy stuff to wash it all down.

Booze is five bucks a pint and “burger flight” tickets are available starting at $30.

When: Saturday, July 19, noon – 5 p.m.
