Quiznos Closes in Falls Church; Jewelry Store to Open in Its Place

The Quiznos restaurant in Falls Church’s West End Plaza at 1067 W. Broad Street has closed. The toasted sandwich chain filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in March, reduced its debt by more than $400 million, and has recently emerged from bankruptcy after restructuring its finances. Despite plans to revitalize the brand focusing on its ability to provide fresh fast food, the Falls Church location will not reopen.

Sky Gold Jewelry is expected to open in the space later this summer.
