F.C. Library Summer Reading Program Starts June 23

Mary Riley Styles Public Library’s annual summer reading program is about to begin.

Registration opens next Monday, June 23. This year, the library will offer programs for readers of every age (including teens and adults) and every reading level, as well as a full schedule of programs and special events.

This summer’s theme is Fizz, Boom, Read! with a focus on science, innovation, discovery, and robots. The teen theme is Spark a Reaction and the adult theme is Literary Elements. All participants who successfully complete the program will receive a prize.

A kick-off celebration will be held next Wednesday, June 25, at 7 p.m. at the library, featuring  glitter tattoos, balloons, and crafts to enjoy while children, teens, and adults sign up for the program.
