Relay For Life Returns to Mason High Saturday

George Mason High School will again be the site of this year’s Relay For Life of Falls Church-Vienna event, which raises funds annually for the American Cancer Society. So far this year, more than 300 participants have raised nearly $50,000 in the fight against cancer.

The Relay For Life of Falls Church-Vienna honors cancer survivors, raises awareness about reducing cancer risk, and raises money to help the American Cancer Society fight the disease. The local Relay For Life will start at 6 p.m., and will include entertainment and activities, as well as recognition for cancer survivors. A  Luminaria Ceremony will honor loved ones who have lost their battle with cancer.

George Mason High School is located at 7124 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church. For more information, visit relayforlife.org.
