Brass Project Concert to Benefit Church Organ Fund

The Saturday Morning Brass Project will return to First Christian Church of Falls Church on Sunday, May 11, at 4 p.m. for a concert of music for brass ensemble including works by Gabrieli, Bach, Piazzolla, and Gershwin. The concert will also feature Dupre’s “Poem Heroique” for brass and organ, with noted organist Wesley McCune.

The Saturday Morning Brass Project ensemble features accomplished brass musicians from the Northern Virginia region and includes players from military bands and other area ensembles.

A coffee and sweets reception will follow the concert.

A freewill offering will be taken at the concert to benefit the church’s organ console renovation fund.
