Cherry Hill Farmhouse to Host 3 Easter Events

Falls Church’s historic Cherry Hill Farmhouse will be the site of three Easter-related events this weekend.

This Saturday, April 5, from 11 a.m. – noon, crafters can bring their own baskets to the farmhouse for a morning lesson in decoration. All materials, other than baskets, will be provided. The cost is $12.

Later that afternoon, a workshop will be held in an old-fashioned method of natural egg dying, with materials supplied. The workshop will be held from 1 – 2 p.m., and the cost is $8.

On Sunday, April 6, from 1 – 3 p.m., Victorian presenter Linda Lau will display select hats from her private collection and discuss Easter traditions during the Victorian era. Afterward, guests will retire to the dining room for a full tea of sandwiches, assorted sweets, warm scones, and a bottomless cup of tea. Reservations are required for this event, which costs $35.

The Cherry Hill Farmhouse is located at 312 Park Ave., Falls Church. For more information and reservations, call 703-248-5171.
