F.C. 5th-Graders Named Hoops League Champs

The Falls Church Select boys fifth-grade basketball team won the Fairfax County Youth Basketball League tournament championship this season. The team had a 12-2 record during the regular season, which resulted in a second place overall standing. They came back to beat Team Ft. Belvoir, the only team they lost to during the regular season, to secure the overall tournament championship. Ryan Fletchall was named the league MVP as well as tournament MVP. Marty Casserly was selected as an All-League player.
