Jody’s Jam of the Week: D.C. Restaurant Week

Come on, it’s been nine days already – resolving to eat better in 2014 is so last week. Starting Monday, over 250 D.C.-area restaurants will be doing their damndest to help you forget your resolutions during Washington, D.C. Restaurant Week.

For seven days, participating restaurants will serve up special three-course lunches or dinners for $20.14 and $35.14 respectively. I’ve perused the deals and, by far, one of the best offerings is from the Little City’s own Pizzeria Orso, hooking up two small plates, two desserts and one (lunch) or two (dinner) pizzas.

Other Restaurant Week spots with my seal of approval include U Street’s 1905 Bistro, F.C.’s 2941, Chinatown’s Graffitao, Old Town’s Grille at Morrison House, Adams Morgan’s Mintwood Place, Logan Circle’s The Pig and Clifton’s Trummer’s on Main.
