Marshall Academy Raises Funds for Breast Cancer Awareness

Criminal justice students from Marshall Academy raised more than $500 in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and recently presented their donation to Cindy’s Legacy, a local nonprofit organization that assists families with loved ones who have cancer.

Cindy’s Legacy was founded in honor of Cindy Delisi Martin, a graduate of Herndon High and George C. Marshall High School’s cosmetology program, who died in 2011. Students presented a check to Martin’s daughter in December.
