A man was shot early this morning in the City of Falls Church.
According to a statement released by the City, at 4:30 a.m. Saturday Falls Church police responded to a call for shots fired in the 900 block of W. Broad St.
An adult male was transported to Fairfax Hospital for gunshot wounds, the statement says, and the last report received by City communications is that he was in surgery.
Police are on the scene investigating, and more details will be released as they become available.
