Jody’s Jam of the Week: Christmas Day Chinese Feast, Movie & a Club

For those flying solo on Christmas Day, thingstododc.com has once again put together an evening full of film, food and fun on December 25.

In the spirit of “A Christmas Story,” (which, by the way, airs on TBS for 24 straight hours starting 8 p.m. Christmas Eve), the itinerary includes an authentic Chinese food dinner at Tony Cheng’s Mongolian Restaurant featuring an all-you-can-eat buffet. After the feast (which may or may not include a table-side carolling), the evening continues with a choice of one of two films: Martin Scorsese’s “Wolf of Wall Street” starring Leonardo DiCaprio or the smaller, independent art film, “Anchorman 2.” Following the flick, it’s time to get down, Yuletide-style, as the night finishes off at a local night club.

What: Christmas Day Chinese Feast, Movie & a Club

When: Wednesday, December 25, 5:15 – 11 p.m.

Where: Tony Cheng’s Mongolian Restaurant, 619 H Street NW, Washington, D.C.
