MEH’s Kirsch Named VEA Teacher of the Year

Representatives from Virginia Education Association and California Casualty brought good news and a $650 award to Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School last week, as eighth-grade world history teacher Erlynn Kirsch was named the 2013-14 VEA Teacher of the Year.

Kirsch is also one of five finalists for the 2014 National Education Association Foundation Awards for Teaching Excellence, to be announced in February.
