With the rewards being cookies and applause, many of the City of Falls Church’s abundance of citizen volunteers were at the F.C. Council meeting Monday night to be hailed at the City’s annual “Volunteer Appreciation Day.” Hundreds of talented and dedicated volunteers populate the City’s 23 boards and commissions and 12 regional bodies, Mayor Nader Baroukh noted.
