McLean Center’s ‘Sunday Soiree’ Dances Return

The McLean Community Center’s Sunday Soirees, a series of casual afternoon dances, will return for the fall session on Sunday, Oct. 27, with “Oktoberfest.” The themed, open dance session will be held from 3 – 5 p.m. in the center’s community hall. Patrons are invited to dress in traditional German clothing, such as lederhosen and dirndls, if they choose. Admission is $5 at the door. The Center is located at 1234 Ingleside Avenue.

The second of the two fall dances will be held on Sunday, Nov. 17. The theme for that dance is “Autumn Splendor,” and it will be held from 3 – 5 p.m., as well. Patrons can dance or just listen to The Wayne Tympanick Trio, which provides the entertainment. Refreshments are included in the cost of admission.
