Community Forum to Discuss F.C. Water Sale Referendum

Citizens for a Better City, the Falls Church Republican and Democratic committees, and the Falls Church American Legion will again team up to host a final community forum on the Falls Church Water sale referendum that will appear on local ballots in November.

In November of 2012, after intense mediation, the Falls Church City Council agreed to sell the Falls Church Water System to Fairfax County’s Water Authority, transferring ownership and management of the system to Fairfax County pending the vote on this referendum. To learn why, members of the public are invited to the evening question-and-answer session.

The forum will take place next Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. at ArtSpace Falls Church, 410 S. Maple Ave.
