McLean High Theatre Opens Fall Season with ‘Last Five Years’ Concert

The award-winning McLean High School Theatre Company will open its 2013-14 season with an exclusive concert performance of Jason Robert Brown’s “The Last Five Years,” this Saturday, Sept. 28, at 7 p.m.

In this musical, two characters chronicle their five-year marriage. This one-night engagement takes place one month prior to MTC’s entry of “The Last Five Years” in the Virginia Theater Association state theater competition, to be held Oct. 25 –27.

The season will continue with the family favorite “Annie,” the hilarious satire “Bald Soprano” as the Virginia High School League competition entry, and the modern American classic “To Kill a Mockingbird,” and will close with Shakespeare’s “The Taming of the Shrew.”

All performances take place at McLean High School, 1633 Davidson Road, McLean. For more information, visit mcleandrama.com.
