Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School eighth-grader Nathaniel Sperry is one of 30 middle school students selected, from a field of nearly 1,700, as a finalist in the Broadcom MASTERS national science, technology, engineering, and math competition.
Sperry will present his project “When Carrots Turn Green … Literally” at the National Geographic Museum the end of this month and compete in hands-on STEM activities.
