F.C.’s Front Porch Opens Back Dorr in Merrifield

The Front Porch in Falls Church is opening The Back Dorr on Dorr Avenue in Merrifield on Saturday at 10 a.m. The 3,000 square foot warehouse space is now filled with tables, chairs, bedroom furniture, patio furniture, chests, shelves and “lots of fun, funky and fresh stuff.”

The new shop will be open and offering refreshments from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Saturday, September 7 and Sunday, September 8. The Back Dorr is in Prosperity Flats and Halstead Square at 2711 Dorr Avenue in Fairfax (in front of Mosaic and behind Dunn Loring Metro.)

The Front Porch at 920 W. Broad Street will continue to be the primary showroom with finished and refinished, upscale resale furniture. Overflow inventory, consignment items, and larger items and pieces that still need some rescuing will all be available at The Back Dorr.
