I’m not going to lie, I had no idea there was a monthly competition for area coffee professionals. And I’m willing to bet 99% of you didn’t know that either. But there is.

It’s called Thursday Night Throwdown and, this week, the java jousting goes down at Bayou Bakery in Courthouse. Thirty-two baristas are expected to compete in a Latte Art Competition to see who can whip and swirl their way to a caffeine-loaded victory.
