Stuart Student Takes 1st in SkillsUSA State Contest

Armando Espejo Jimenez of Falls Church won first place in the Employment Application Process competition at the SkillsUSA Virginia State Leadership Conference and Skills Championships last month. The event was a showcase for career and technical education students across the state competing in over 95 contests and 11 examinations. Armando is a junior at J.E.B. Stuart High School enrolled in the Education for Employment, Cooperative Work Experience, and SkillsUSA programs. Armando will be representing the Commonwealth of Virginia in the Employment Application Process competition at the National SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference in June. (Courtesy Photo)
