Public Meeting to Discuss S. Washington St. Changes

The City of Falls Church will hold a community meeting about the planned improvements along the S. Washington St. corridor next Monday, May 6, in the Art Room of the Falls Church Community Center, 223 Little Falls St. The meeting will start with an open house at 6 p.m. and continue with presentations at 6:30 p.m.

Improvements include the new Intermodal Transit Plaza at the corner of Hillwood Avenue and S. Washington Street. Based on feedback received at a community forum held in January, an alternative concept plan has been developed for the plaza. Project design elements and the anticipated schedule will be discussed.
