City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for March 12 – 18, 2013

Narcotics Violation, 900 block Ellison St. On Mar. 12, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a female, 23, of Manassas Park, was arrested and released on summons for Possession of Marijuana.

Graffiti, 900 block Madison Ln. On Mar. 12, graffiti were found on a stop sign.

Graffiti, 700 block E. Broad St. On Mar. 12, graffiti were found on a retaining wall.

Illegal Possession of a Gambling Device, 6757 Wilson Blvd #3 (Café Nho) On Mar. 12, a male, 55, of Annandale, was arrested and released on summons for Possession of a Gambling Device.

Larceny from Building, 6795 Wilson Blvd. #43 (Wish Jewelry) On Mar. 13, an unknown suspect stole a cardboard donation box containing cash. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 30 to 40 years of age, approximately 6 feet tall with a shaved or bald head, and clean-shaven. He was wearing a “London Fog” style rain coat, tan slacks and brown shoes.

Drinking In Public, 1000 block W. Broad St. On Mar. 14, a male, 47, of Alexandria, was arrested and released on summons for Drinking In Public.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #16 (Café Le Mirage) On Mar. 15, a male, 40, was arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area. A male, 25, of Springfield; and a male, 24, of Falls Church, were arrested and released on Summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Driving Under the Influence, 800 block W. Broad St. On Mar. 16, officers responded to an accident in the area. One of the drivers, a female, 73, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Narcotics Violation, 306 Hillwood Ave. (Lesly’s Restaurant) On Mar. 16, a male, 45, of Waldorf, MD, was arrested and released on summons for Possession of Marijuana.

Driving Under the Influence, 600 block S. Washington St. On Mar. 17, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, Alexande Kleshchevnikov, 39, of Erie, PA, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Driving Under the Influence, 6700 block Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Mar. 17, a male, 50, of Fountain Valley, CA, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Panhandling, 400 block Roosevelt Blvd. On Mar. 17, a male, 41, no fixed address, was arrested and released on summons for Panhandling.

Shoplifting, 1230 W. Broad St. (Giant Foods) On Mar. 17, a male, 23, of Springfield, was arrested and released on summons for Shoplifting.

Driving Under the Influence, 100 block W. Broad St. On Mar. 18, a female, 24, of Fairfax, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
