The McLean Community Players opened their production of “Next to Normal” last weekend with standing ovations and earned their first five-star review from DCMetrotheaterarts.com. The musical, which is being performed at McLean Community Center’s Alden Theatre, continues through Feb. 16. “Next to Normal” tells the story of a mother’s struggle with bipolar disorder and how it affects her family.
