Lincoln Park to Get New Equipment by Summer

The City of Falls Church plans to replace all of the playground equipment at Lincoln Park by early this summer, according to City spokesperson Susan Finarelli.

Equipment at the park’s playground was damaged early last August when a car driving by lost control and hit some of the playground equipment.

The community was invited to review plans for the playground equipment at a meeting of the Recreation and Parks Advisory Board last month.

According to Finarelli, the plan awaits authorization of funds and a signed contract.
