ANNE HOLTON (kneeling near the far left), wife of U.S. Senate candidate Tim Kaine, toured the Falls Church-McLean Children’s Center Tuesday morning, a program that has provided affordable pre-K options to area families for more than 40 years.

Here, she’s shown mugging it with all the eager kids in one of the classes. The Center serves more than 70 children and was selected as one of only three child care centers in Fairfax County to participate in Kaine’s Start strong early childhood education pilot program when Kaine was Governor in 2007.
