Volunteers are invited to raise funds for the Northern Virginia AIDS Ministry this month through a special bowling event.

The Halloween-themed afternoon of bowling is scheduled for Oct. 28, from 1 – 3 p.m., at AMF Annandale Lanes, 4245 Markham St., Annandale. Volunteers who are older than 21 are asked to collect or donate at least $50. Volunteers who are 21 or younger are asked to collect or donate at least $25.

Those interested in volunteering must RSVP by Oct. 22.

Participation in the event includes two hours of unlimited bowling and shoe rental. Door prizes and a costume contest will also be featured at the fundraiser.
