F.C. Rotary Club Seeks Citizen of the Year Nominations

The Rotary Club of Falls Church is searching for nominations for outstanding community members to honor in its first-annual Citizen of the Year contest.

The nominee must be a Falls Church resident who has done more than his/her part in making the community realize its “inherent potentialities.” Primary consideration will focus on exemplary service which includes volunteer work to the local community in single or multiple initiatives.

The award recipient will be honored at a special meeting of the Rotary Club of Falls Church, and will be presented for selection as a nominee in the area competition, and potentially advance to district competition.

Nominations may be submitted by individuals or organizations. Nominations should include a complete description of the services rendered. Two letters of support must be submitted, and the nominee must agree in writing to participate and accept the nomination.

The nomination deadline is Sept. 27. For more information, call Rotarian Carlota McCormack at 703-447-6813 or email cmccormack@hgmteam.com.
