Dylan Shawn Cooper, 19, of 2128 Haycock Road in Falls Church died on Sunday, July 15, as a result of injuries he sustained Friday, June 29, shortly after 11 p.m. as the historic “derecho” storm raged through the region. Cooper was found unconscious, in the vicinity of downed power lines on Haycock Road. The office of Fairfax County’s Chief Medical Examiner determined the cause of death to be electrocution and the manner to be accidental. His death became the third in the region attributed to the storm.
