Longtime F.C. Resident Anita Rosenberg Dies

Anita Rosenberg died from complications of heart surgery on July 5, 2012. She was a much-loved resident of Falls Church for over 20 years and an active member of the Winter Hill community.

She served on a number of senior advisory boards and was named, along with her husband, Jack, the winner of the 2001 Ruth Checknoff Award for outstanding service to senior citizens in the Falls Church area. She is survived by her husband, and her daughter, Barbara Jasny, son-in-law Henry Jasny and grandchildren, Lorien and Micah, also of Falls Church.

A memorial service will be held Monday, July 16, at 11 a.m. at the Winter Hill Social Club, 330-B S. Virginia Ave., Falls Church.
