Acclaimed portrait artist Seth Haverkamp will be doing a special program at ArtSpace Falls Church, 410 S. Maple Ave., next Wednesday and Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
Haverkamp has just finished a life-size portrait, and will be showing this commissioned work before it is delivered to the client. The artist will be discussing the painting itself and the difference in painting life size versus standard wall size portraits that we commonly see. A few of Haverkamp’s other new portraits will be exhibited these nights, as well. He will also be giving a presentation titled “Life Size Portraiture, Challenges and Solutions.”
